Community Leadership
Community leadership and engagement has become a natural extension of how I work and live—through showing up, listening, and leveraging my skills to make a difference. These roles have reinforced my belief in the power of community and the impact that thoughtful, hands-on leadership can have at every level.
MicroMentor
Empowering Entrepreneurs Around the World
MicroMentor is the world’s largest online mentoring platform, connecting purpose-driven entrepreneurs with experienced business mentors across the globe. I’ve had the privilege of serving as a mentor since the platform's inception in 2008, guiding more than 20 emerging entrepreneurs as they build, refine, and grow their businesses. It’s a role that reflects my deep belief in the power of one-on-one connection to spark meaningful progress and long-term success.
Midtown Neighbors’ Association
Civic Leadership Rooted in Community
For more than seven years, I’ve proudly served on the Board of Directors of the Midtown Neighbors’ Association—a nonprofit civic organization dedicated to representing, supporting, and strengthening the Midtown neighborhood. In my role as Vice President of Finance, I’ve led the implementation of strong financial controls and a structured annual budgeting process, putting the organization on a path toward long-term financial sustainability.
In addition to my board work, I direct the Midtown Garden Stroll, one of our community’s most cherished traditions.
Midtown Garden Stroll
Celebrating Nature, Community, and Place
Now in its 12th year, the Midtown Garden Stroll is a free, self-guided tour showcasing some of the most beautiful private gardens in Atlanta’s Historic Midtown Garden District. As Director, I have transformed the event into a signature experience that attracts more than 4000 visitors from across Atlanta, throughout Georgia, and neighboring states. Under my leadership, the event has consistently grown in attendance, increased fundraising year over year, and elevated the profile of our neighborhood by celebrating its charm, history, and hospitality.
Proceeds from sponsorships and vendor partnerships directly support green space maintenance and neighborhood enhancement projects, positioning the Midtown Garden Stroll as both a beloved tradition and a driver of community revitalization. The event has played a key role in reinforcing the Historic Midtown Garden District designation and continues to foster deep community pride and engagement.
